Synopsis
Reporting the unacceptable practices of councils, politicians, football clubs and government development agencies - Tony leaves no bizarre stone unturned. Ever heard of councils spending GBP45m on art, or GBP130,000 on biscuits? What about the GBP2.4m Lottery handout for a bandstand, or the NHS Nurse of the Year administering contraceptive jabs in McDonald's? All of these events and many more have happened - and Tony's the man who has documented them all. A hilarious satire on society and an inside look at 'all the bonkers things that go in in the North East of England', this book will appeal to local residents, as well as fans of Tony's work on the radio and in the paper.Book info
