Why I wrote this book
I have always been afflicted with a reluctance to accept history the way it is written, knowing that the ego and will of authority cannot stop interfering. For me, this has never been about anarchy or rebellion, but a desire to understand. I took to overlaying different sections and reports of history and found numerous glitches that mankind glosses over too readily. Then profiling key characters from all ages and gens, resulted in the most surprising insights toward predictability of motives and real intensions. Often this confirms what we believe does not have the highest probability, but simply the most convenient from possible truths; and when such claims challenge the accepted norm, without physical evidence, they are then treated as fiction. Rather than fight this reaction, I have chosen to embrace it, taking elements of interesting discoveries and blending them into written works, set to entertain. The best description is one of parables - simple in appearance, but raising layers of complex questions - while being aware of modern media expectations. If I had to state one reason for writing, it’s to try to make our time on this Earth better understood.
Synopsis
Two people from different places and different times have one common destiny...Caittie and Andrew are dragged into a world of secrets. They must struggle to uncover the truth and find out what, or who, is behind it all. As they search, the confusions increase and the conflicts of this world open up before them. Their journey tells us what happens when we get too close to the truth, when it all becomes too real. Paradox Lost is a modern parable that takes you on a journey that will stretch your imagination. It will force you to face the questions you've always wanted to be answered...If you confronted the greatest paradox of all, would you be ready?Book info
