In a very scientific manner, the author clarifies all aspects of yoga. The book highlights the basics of life. Breathing, concentration and relaxation are superbly explained. The concepts of `prana' and `pranayama' are presented in a new light. The importance of ethics and proper diet in daily life is emphasised. Every posture is explained with several illustrations. Well presented, easy to follow. Just what a beginner needs, it is as suitable for the advanced student. One can advance gradually, at one's own pace. Without any technical jargon, it is suitable as a basic reference work. Complete in itself, there is no need for another book. The E book version is very user friendly. I am IMPATIENTLY waiting for the hard copy to be out early november.
