Why I wrote this book
I wrote this book to illustrate the personal, psychological and spiritual journey we can choose to make through the seven major chakras of the body, and reach our own hidden wisdom, which is the ‘true magic’ of the book. I chose to do this through the ancient art of story telling which over aeons has delivered deep messages in an enthralling way. I wrote it to appeal to the Child in every Adult and the Adult in every Child and thus anyone with an imagination and a spiritually enquiring mind will enjoy it.
The spiritual content and philosophy spun into a magical adventure story is what makes this book different, especially its message of unconditional love, peace and oneness. There are different levels of understanding woven into the basic fabric of the story and these can be discovered, or not, without compromising the enjoyment of the story.
With the spiritual expectations of 2012 soon to be upon us this book will help those who are ready to begin or continue their journey to higher consciousness in a manner that entertains as well as informs.
I would hope a reader would buy it because they too are on a spiritual quest of their own and would find the story and the topics covered within it worthy of their attention. It will certainly appeal to those who are already aware of their spiritual pathway, and life’s journey, but I hope it will also appeal to those who are just beginning to want to know more and for whom this book will be a first introduction to such concepts, delivered in a non-threatening, entertaining way. There are no ‘shoulds’ in this, for those who are ready to read it will find they are drawn to it by synchronistic means.
I believe it is meant to be read and enjoyed at this particular time in our world’s development.
The author compares his writing to JK Rowling, JRR Tolkein and James Redfield
Synopsis
A soul views his next incarnation in a fear ravaged land under a shape-shifting Sorcerer’s evil dominance, intent on killing the new born Prince, who is the land’s only hope of restoring light and peace.
The last remaining Wizard takes the child to a hidden village, where he grows up, in a life full of personal restrictions, as the Baker’s son, not knowing his true heritage. As Willerby he experiences magical happenings at his 13th birthday party, including the gift of a strangely carved, pulsating stone, and the new name of Wigapom.
Later the vision of a beautiful woman gives him another stone and instructs him to earn five more, which he must place in the spine of the Book of True Magic, retrieving it first from the Sorcerer.
So begins Wigapom’s Quest which develops into a personal journey of self awareness, as well as a race against time, involving the Sorcerer and his malevolent forces, who are seeking to kill him; a challenging relationship with his travelling companion and best friend and a surreal one with his own manifested Inner Child. Through the traumas of the journey, and his varied guides and helpers along the way, he finds what he needs to release the hidden wisdom from the Book of True Magic but at a surprising and seemingly devastating cost.
