Why I wrote this book
Throughout my work, I have tried to keep a simplistic structure so that it is understandable by a wide range of readers. The book is arranged in sections to make it easier for the reader to find the area he or she finds interesting.
Very rarely, when a piece was first written, it was rare to consider it as complete and finished.
Most of my efforts needed extra time for work to polish them and make them acceptable to my readers. When I have not succeeded, I hope my readers will accept my apology. Many readers will relate to these poems which are concerned with real life e occurrences.

From a very early age, I have been attracted to poetry, to the rhythm and melody of the words. I have read many poets work, both old and modern and tried to learn as much as I could about the structure and form of poetry and to put it into practice. Because of work commitments for many years as a nurse, (see my book, The Past Recaptured ISBN 978-1848-761-926 Published by Matador ) I had to wait until retirement to do this.
