This novel was born out of personal tragedy, writing it was my way of coming to terms with the death of my younger sister Celia, who was killed by her husband, on the 9th of March 2005.
I wrote 'Valley of Shadows' to honour her.
It is a dark fantasy, suitable for young teens and adults.

About the Author
I was born in Swindon Wiltshire.
At the age of around nineteen, I moved to London, where I trained to be a singer. After a couple of years of intensive study, I embarked on my singing career.
My first engagement was a Summer Show in Morecombe, and from that exciting beginning I went on to perform in Pantomimes, Cabaret and recording and session work.
In the late eighties I gave up show biz and moved to the midlands, where I met and married my husband Keith.
Now I am kept busy writing books for children and young teens.
