William Rumbol
Russell William Rumbol was born in Lambeth , London. After A levels in Arts subjects, he became a navigator in the Royal Air Force and, for twenty years, flew a number of aircraft types and saw a great deal of the world. He then did a degree in Mathematics and became a college lecturer. Now, he pursues a life-long interest in English Literature and climbs the beautiful Shropshire hills. He has a son, a daughter, a step-daughter and several grand-children.
