Tony Edwards
Publicity consultant Tony Edwards has been promoting products, people and places for well over 30 years, kicking off with Carnaby Street and the 'Swinging London' phenomenon of the late sixties. He's the PR behind the annual 'Rear of the Year' awards, which have just celebrated their 25th anniversary, and was described by journalist and presenter Alan Whicker as "the man behind all the ideas".
Tony wrote TV comedy scripts for 'Two Ronnies' and Dave Allen in the seventies and has since written two novels. He's just completed his third. 'Dark Glasses' is about the sometimes fake and fragile world of 'Celebrity' and the supporting role of the PR industry.
